Wall rules
Last updated October 3, 2026
A wall is for saying something to a whole city. A person reads every post before it goes up. These are the lines they hold.
What's welcome
Shout-outs, confessions, proposals, jokes, lost-and-found, birthday wishes, a question to the whole city. Say it like you'd say it out loud.
Businesses welcome
A bar, a shop, a band, a studio: you can post about your own place or what you do, as long as it's clear it's you talking ("Our terrace reopens Friday — Bar Marina"). What isn't allowed is a business pretending to be a happy customer, or posting about a competitor. Business posts follow every other rule, including no contact details or links.
What doesn't go up
Hate or harassment. Anything about a private person who didn't ask to be on the wall. Phone numbers, emails, handles or other contact details. Hidden ads: a business posing as a customer. Anything sexual, violent or illegal. Links.
Review
Every post waits in review until a moderator approves it, usually within minutes, always the same day. If it's rejected, what you paid comes back to you and you get a line saying why.
Ranking
Posts are ordered by what their author paid, and nothing else. On a tie, the earlier post keeps the spot. You can add more to your own post at any time to climb.
A new board every Monday
Every Monday at 00:00 in the city's own time zone a new board starts and the race to #1 begins again. Nothing is deleted: last week's board, and every one before it, stays up to read, and each wall keeps an all-time top.
Reports
Anyone can report a post, signed in or not: tap Report on the post. If you think a post is illegal, pick "It's illegal" and tell us which law or whose rights it breaks. A moderator reads every report the same day and takes down whatever breaks these rules or the law. A post taken down after going live for breaking the rules is not refunded.
How we decide
A person makes every decision. Simple automatic checks point the moderator at things like links, phone numbers or @handles in a post, but they never approve, reject or remove anything on their own.
When we act on an account
Someone who keeps breaking the rules, or breaks them badly, can be suspended for a few days or banned. While an account is suspended its posts are hidden from every board and its profile, and it can't post, add to a post or report. Posts come back as they were when a suspension ends.
Why, and how to challenge it
When we reject or take down your post, your own profile shows the post, the rule it broke and what happened to your money. If you think we got it wrong, write to us through the contact form ("A post on a wall") within six months. A person looks at it again and tells you what we decided. You can also go to the courts or to an out-of-court dispute body.
